By placing a booking with The Lodge you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms, conditions and the conditions contained within the Welcome Brochure, located in The Lodge, a copy of which can be supplied upon request in advance of your stay.
Where the person making the booking is different to the persons taking up occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at the owner’s express permission.
To secure any booking the owner requires a non-refundable deposit of £100.
Deposit payments must be 'cleared funds' before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are only refundable under the conditions as set-out below.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash deposit. Any charges raised against the owners by the bank for handling bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.
The balance is payable 30 days prior to arrival or if arrival date is less than 30 days then the full amount is due at the time of booking.
The owner reserves the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to neighbours or the owners.
Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below;
Guest who need to cancel a booking should contact the owner as soon as possible. Balances already paid are only returned in accordance with the following conditions;
Guests who fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit the full amount of the booking. It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made without compensation.
Wi-Fi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately.
The Internet access provided is free of charge. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authority.
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to the property owner prior to departure. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for damage and breakages although it should be noted that minor breakages and reasonable wear and tear (in the opinion of the property owner) will not be charged for. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge of £5 per key.
Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the holidaymaker to make any such problem known to the property owner immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.
Certain repairs and/or breakdowns may take an extended time to get an engineer to visit. Certain appliances require specialists to attend and are not usually available at short notice. The property owner will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars, vaping and snuff or chewing tobacco is not allowed in the accommodation.
We do not accept pets in the accommodation.
We do not allow parties in the accommodation.
On-site parking is provided, guests accept they park their vehicles at their own risk.
We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 16 who stay with us.
You accept that any entries you make to the on-site guest book, will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed.
